Amazon.com Product Description It looks great and sounds even better, even above the din of nailers, compressors and saws. But it's not just a radio: The DeWalt DC011 also charges 7.2-volt through 18-volt DeWalt batteries in an hour and plays up to eight hours from a single DeWalt battery if electricity is not available. The radio is AM/FM with a digital tuner, and an auxiliary port lets you plug in a CD player. A convenient case on the radio's side lets your store your CDs, safe and clean. It's tough enough for the jobsite, too, wearing a rugged, high-impact roll cage, steel speaker grills, and weather-resistant body. Our only complaint is that there's no battery included, but this probably isn't your first cordless tool, either. You can't go wrong, whether it'll play at the job or the home workshop.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste END

Works Great! June 24, 2010 Mrs. Petersen (Riverton, UT) I bought this for my husband who works in construction. He always wants to listen to music, but an iPod or mp3 player just won't do for him. So since he's got to charge his batteries anyway, we got this.
It has great sound, the radio may be a bit staticy at time, but you'd find that with just about ANY radio. There's an auxiliary port, so he can plug in his iPod, without fear of destroying it in his pocket!
Charges the battery just as well as any charger!
Works great and sounds great. July 26, 2008 S. Corbeil I was tired of running the work truck battery dead listening to the radio and working under the street in Manholes, regular am/fm radios just didn't do the trick. While working on a new school there were some painters that had a similar dewalt radio and it sounded great so I figured I would give it a shot and buy one. Yes it gets great reception even under the street and when an MP3 player is plugged in it even sounds better I highly recommend the radio.
Dewalt Job site radio January 13, 2008 Elizabeth Mathews 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I placed the order, a few days later I was notified that it was out of stock, I cancelled my order, then received an email from the complany 'oops forgot to tell you that we upgraded your item to new and shipped it out'. I was never able to track the shipment online. Did not receive the item by the date I was supposed to, so I contacted the company who told me that it must be lost and they would ship me another one. Well I received the item on Christmas Eve, it was not 'new' it was refurbished(which is what I had originally ordered). I wonder if this was a ploy to delay my order until the item was back instock. Anyway, the product works great. This transaction was one of 2 online purchases that I made for Christmas-both were messed up and I will shop at a local business in the future to avoid any confusion or wondering if an item will actually make it to me.
Work radio December 7, 2007 K. Pitre (New Orleans, LA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like this product, I find I allways have a charged battery, because I plug the radio in and charge batteries while listening to music. The unit also has an input jack for an I-pod or other audio device. It is durable and constucted well. I would recomend it highly to any one who ask me about it.
ad misleading October 12, 2007 DH 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
Beware of this ad. it gives the immpression that you are getting the radio and the seperate charger. when in fact its only the radio. I don't know why they have the little picture advertising the radio and the seperate charger.
