 Great after a replacement was sent April 22, 2010

received my katcher as promised but after opening the packaged it looked like it was put together by a 10 year old the on/off switch was broken and it sounded like a piggy bank with a bunch a screws rattling on the inside. Called the company explained the problem and they sent a replacement. It was received in 3 days. The replacement works great. I had owned a smaller katcher before and this one works even better. Gave it only 4 stars because of the problem I had with the first one they sent.

Ordered this item hoping for the best, since ALL of the electric washers I have looked at seem to have poor to average reviews. Well, this one arrived and didn't even power up. In fact, I could hear water leaking inside of it when the garden hose was connected. I received a full refund. I wasn't about to try a replacement. I contacted the manufacturer (CPO) for a refund/RMA and they refunded my money and told me to throw it away. I suppose I could try to fix it, if I can figure out what is wrong and if I can find the parts. So, it's a plus that I didn't have to send it back, but I wasted lots of time ordering, testing, and repacking the item. You can try your luck. Seems to be a 50-50 chance of getting a lemon for any of these plastic toys...

Product works, cleaned the drive well need detergent to get power steering fluid spots gone. Good power washer good value from a popular brand.

A big caution on this factory-reconditioned Karcher model.
There is absolutely NO warranty on this model.
You will notice that there is nothing written here about the warranty. Why?
They don't want us to know about it, and that is very sneaky and unfair.
I had to call their customer service at 800-714-0918 to get the warranty information.
There is only a 30-day return policy. That is it.
So if it stops working after only 5 weeks, tough luck.
I will never buy anything with such poor warranty conditions.

For an electric pressure washer the performance is very good. With the dirt blaster attachment you actually have to be careful or you'll cut what you're trying to clean.
One very good feature is that the motor turns itself off when you let go of the on/off grip so the motor should last longer.
The only negative, so far, is that it is very poorly balanced, on anything but a flat surface you can bet that it will dump over at the slightest tug.
