the item works very well and was exactly what I needded. The delivery took a little while and the item was not properly packed. It was posted inside a box with too few plastic boubles allowing the item to bounce inside it, generating risks of damaging it.

I have purchased reconditioned Ryobi products before, so I was confident with this purchase. I recently used it to drill into a concrete sidewalk to install metal braces for a mailbox. It actually worked smoother than a corded DeWalt that I had used in the past. Good battery life (battery & charger purchased separately). The handle and depth rod are easily removed for regular drilling, but I leave the handle on for extra support. I highly recommend this drill, especially if you already have 18V Ryobi product(s) with the charger & battery.

use mine everyday, primarily as a screw& nut driver but also as case calls for it a drill and or hammer drill. It has been an excellent tool.
very easy to operate and good battery life.
