| Customer Reviews: The bit holder was not very good October 14, 2009 H. Tran (Hayward, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this refurbished screwgun to use on my remodeling project (about 65 pieces of sheetrock). It worked great... but then, after about 8 pieces of sheetrock or so, the bit holder could not keep the bit any more... the bit got stuck with the drywall screw! I had to re-insert the bit and it kept doing that. We can't hang any sheetrock if the bit keeps sticking to the screws like this.
I tried with a few other bits, but they all got the same problem. I guess the 'O' ring was expanded a little bit and that caused the bit holder not be able to hold the bit tight. I went on to finish hanging drywall with my Ridgid cordless impact gun (it works really well).
I guess with a good bit holder, this screw gun should be very good.
